Summary:

Internet famous brothers recently have been charged of multiple serious crimes such as rape, human trafficking and assault. Andrew Tate, one of the brothers is facing 10 charges involving 3 different women. While Tristan Tate, the other brother faces 11 charges with one woman. According to the Crown Prosecution Service, this is "the first time it confirmed the two had been criminally charged in Britain," despite having arrest warrants in the past. The alleged offences occurred between 2012 and 2015, just prior to the both of them moving to Romania. While these charges are in Britain, the brothers have faced other charges as well in Romania. In 2022 they were arrested for running a criminal ring known for sexually exploiting women. They both deny these charges but U.K. prosecutors say the brothers will be extradited after Romanian proceedings conclude.


Thoughts:

I honestly find this article to be quite disgusting. The Tate brothers took over the internet back in early 2022. Their content consisted of spreading misogynistic ideology, manipulating young men into buying their Hustlers University. And now, for the second time they are facing charges relating to sexual exploitation. Their first conviction had them put in jail for a few months but they were released relatively quickly. This time, I believe, they will be behind bars for much longer. The fact that they are being tried in the U.K. is a major contributor to this as it's much easier in Romania to manipulate the judicial system with money, which they have a lot of. Personally, I hope they are found guilty. All they have contributed to the world was to reinforce misogamy and to create a negative impression of masculinity. There is nothing wrong with being masculine but now people may view masculinity as aligned with the ideals that the Tate brothers spread. Those ideals just harmed women, objectifying, and abusing them.
